Faith Pyka

Spiritual, Healer, Mother, Nature lover and believe we are in a transformational time in this auspicious time on Planet Earth.

My upbringing was in the state of Wisconsin, where I was born into a family of ten children, and we were raised in a rural area – actually on a farm. Are you thinking Catholic? You know it’s those cold winters so kids are plentiful there. We never had matching socks – we were lucky to have clothes. It snowed a lot when I was a kid, and sometimes we had mittens — sometimes we used those unmatched socks for mittens – guess that’s why we could hardly ever find a match for the socks.

I have an older brother and then there were six of us girls in a row and then the last three were boys. Were we blessed or what! You know that gallon of milk you have in your refrigerator? I know exactly where that came from. We milked the cows and did all the farm chores – some of them before school.

I was the one with the dark hair – our house was so far from the mailbox I don’t think that could have happened. In our house, there was always a baby in diapers, and if you were late for dinner there wasn’t any left. But since my mother baked bread every other day there was always bread and butter. We listened to Paul Harvey, and we never went anywhere, but we heard of Minnesota and Iowa.

Upon graduating from high school my older sister and I moved to Arizona. In comparison, Wisconsin and Arizona are completely different from each other, and I quickly grew to love the very beautiful Arizona desert. It’s always just such a scorcher there and shade under a palm tree? If you have not yet seen the Grand Canyon it is magnificent! I was there about a year ago with friends in its breath taking wonder, and it is truly one of the wonders of the world.

About three years after moving to Arizona I relocated to California. No more desert. . . the ocean . . . San Diego was my first experience with California, then I moved to the San Francisco area, and ended up settling in the O.C., and more specifically in Mission Viejo. It’s so hot here in the summertime they call it Mission Inferno.

I have tied the knot twice, and one of my marriages ended in a divorce. My other marriage ended in a suicide, and at this time in my life, I was an assistant to an interior designer who designed high-end residential homes and model homes. Attending college and earning an AA degree in Business and a BA degree in Interior Design kept my mind off my depression. I was raising my daughter with little time to think about depression.

Although I was not outwardly dealing with the stress of my lost relationships – while working full time, going to school, and handling the various other stresses in my life, my depression was deeply internal, and these emotions brought on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and serious Adrenal Fatigue.

So, more than 11 years ago, in the midst of my busy schedule of working full time, attending design school, and raising my daughter (who is 16 now and driving), I was suddenly sicker than a dog. In my mind I heard — hello, Faith — this is your wake up call!

Knowing I needed to be a mother to my daughter, and to be able to take care of her financially, getting well was very important to me, and I quickly began my search to bring my body back to a balanced position, and as fast as possible.

It was time for me to wake up and smell the coffee; in fact, it was time for me to stop drinking the brew. It was time for me to realize and to accept that I had to make changes – I had to stop being Wonder Woman, and I needed that balance in my life to keep me healthy and whole.

I needed healing and wellness of Mind, Body and Spirit.

Being farm fed, I knew what healthy eating was all about, and I immediately pursued physical, mental and spiritual healing with a vengeance, and began juicing and eating pure foods, concentrating on my physical, mental and spiritual health.

God kept pounding at my head all through my life and well – my mother always said I had a hard head – sometimes it takes awhile. But the truth is, I have always felt a calling to become a Healer, and I ignored that calling until it was devastatingly — right in my face.

Having studied how to Assess and Balance the body for nearly two years — today, I am where I should be. I have learned a great deal about Wellness Healing and how to assess and balance the body through Health Ascension. Our body locks up due to emotions we refer to as Defense Physiology. This locking up is the body’s defense mechanism for protection, and unfortunately, disease can result from this. It takes a great deal of energy for the body to stay in Defense Physiology — energy that could be used for other more important functions in the body.

We know that negative emotions are reasons why we get diseases, as the body is in a state of dis-ease, and I Restore the Breath in the Body and Release the Defense Physiology. The Defense Physiology is, specifically, the negative emotions we hold inside. I release these locked up emotions by using acupressure, muscle testing, and utilizing specific non-invasive protocols designed to communicate with the brain to release the old programming, so that the body can come back to its intended and rightful balance and begin to heal itself.   These healing treatments can be done remotely as well.

From past experiences we hold on to fears, hurts, resentments and many other negative feelings which limits us and limits our spirit – our spirit for living. We can attain true joy and happiness and choose to live life. We aren’t really who we are when we are in Defense Physiology. You know that Defense Physiology is also known as fight, flight, freeze and faint and those body/mind stressors of causal factors such as abandonment, love and being loved, trust, self-worth, etc.

We can release these deeply held negative feelings and become healthy both mentally and physically.  We can change our negative life to a positive life with vibrant health.

In addition to the above I am certified in The Reconnection taught by Dr. Eric Pearl. As a human being, you need to be healthy on many levels: emotional, physical, spiritual and mental.  Like many of us, you are probably looking for new ways to relax and create balance in your life.  You may also be searching for ways to improve in all areas of your life.  You may even play sports or participate in some form of physical competition. At the 2010 ISSEEM conference, new reaearch was published regarding studies with Reconnective Healing conducted by Ann Baldwin, Gary Schwartz and Doug De Vito.  In this research, Reconnective Healing was shown to be real, measurable and documentable in numerous independent measurements.  It was also shown to be different than energy healing as we know it.  When practicing the work both the practitioner and the client/patient go into dramatically enhanced healing states.
